Arc Medal operates as a dual-face design canvas where unit administrators and municipal clerks build challenge coins and award medals that pass vendor technical requirements on first submission. The app enforces character budgets for curved legends, validates device placement within safe margins, and checks enamel cell counts against soft-enamel manufacturing limits.
The Studio workspace provides real-time feedback as you position devices from a library of 42 original vector graphics including civic columns, oak leaves, rank chevrons, and terra incognita compasses. Curved text automatically fits to your chosen diameter with budget warnings when you approach the 21-character arc limit. Five metal finish previews show your design in antique gold, polished nickel, antique copper, black nickel, or dual-plate combinations.
Export functionality generates multi-page PDF order sheets with Pantone-style enamel callouts, edge treatment notes, and Medal-Turn or Coin-Turn orientation diagrams. The Proof section runs six validation checks including outer margin compliance, minimum stroke width, serial band clearance, and dual-face orientation consistency before allowing export.
Design both obverse and reverse medal faces with independent device placement, arc legends, and enamel cells. Toggle between Medal-Turn and Coin-Turn orientation standards.
